A lovely traditional Murano scavo glass double ceiling light fitting with a decorative black wire trim, hand-crafted on the famous glass-making Venetian island. The amber shade gently diffuses the light for a soft and warm glow.
The Italian word scavo translates as dug up in English. A special chemical has been used to erode parts of the surface of this lovely light, to give it the appearance of having been having been buried for a long time - hence the name.
This finish is ideal for those who prefer a more traditional rustic look. Perfect for a country-style decor or kitchen, the styling works just as well, however, in modern homes.
